Pastor James H. Duncan

Dr. Duncan is the Executive Pastor of Bethel Outreach Worship Ministries (BOW Ministries) of Prince Georges County Maryland, under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Bishop Chris A. Tyson, Sr.  
Dr. Duncan is married to Joyce Duncan who is also an Elder at Bethel. God has blessed them with three daughters and seven grandkids.

Saved at the age of 20, Dr. Duncan received the call to ministry in 1982 under the leadership of 
Dr. Constance Palmer of the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church.

Dr. Duncan is a retired Police Detective, in which he gave twenty-five years of service to the Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. He also served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force Reserve, until his retirement in 2001.

Seeing a greater call in his life, he felt the need to continue his education at Liberty University, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education. He furthered his education at Howard University’s Washington College of Divinity in Washington DC,  he received  his Master’s and Doctorate Degree in Religious Studies. Dr Duncan is also a Certified Pastoral Member of the 
Saratoga Academy of Christian Counseling.

Dr. Duncan has dedicated his life to the work of the ministry and service of Jesus Christ  and is encourage by Psalms 27: 13-14 
“ I had fainted, unless I believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thy heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
